Gaga has endless excuses for what she is trying to say to things, that by no means, means that is what she portrays in her music. Art is subjective and is supposed to mean other things to other people. Once an artist releases that art to the world the artists intentions become voided and the public's opinion mean more then what the artist themselves tried but failed to do. Have you never taken art appreciation courses? Or studied art at all? That happens all the time. Just because an artist wants to make a statement doesn't mean that statement was executed well, it also doesn't mean that the artists opinion has more weight then the viewers. It's actually the very opposite the external objective view of the artist work becomes more valued then the subjective view that the artist tried to create.

And honestly, how do you not see a coherent plot in Judas?

Judas is a bunch of random scenes compiled together with the barest skeleton of a plot just like all of Gaga's other videos. She takes things randomly for all over the place (arabic/egyptian make-up, biker culture, religious text, bottecilli images, cosmetic weapons) and then tries to make a statement that ends up becoming both convoluted and muddled due to all of the differing elements. It's
nowhere near as well thought out, consistent and as well executed as Paparazzi is.
