They would suck going solo. We all know what happened to those members from Backstreet boy, Blue, N sync after they went solo. Justin Timberlake is the only successful one.

It was so messy after I left  Way to keep it classy gurls 
Does anyone else feel like Niall (unfotunately) is like the least used member int he group, as in he's not as into the group as the other four...idk just after hearing about another girl group kicking out one of their members, I started thinking about 1D and how like Niall seems like he doesn't have the best friend in the group

I wanna agree with you but they do love Niall, just sometimes I barely understand when he speaks, he's the bestie of all them

Obviously they're all mates, and they don't exactly bully him like T-ara girls did to Hwayoung. But it felt as though everyone had a really really good mate Harry = Louis, Zayn = Liam, and Niall was always that other friend, always there and having a fun time, but not anyobdys closest buddy in the group
Maybe I'm talking sh it and not making any f ucking sense, idk

I wish I didn't have to agree with you 
I think though that he's mutually loved by everything which is a good thing, plus he's got a close relationship with Liam, so I suppose it's not too bad. They're not going to throw him out though
Not to worry though, expect an announcement at the same time as the new single is announced that I'll be the new 6th member, and I'll be his best friend.

I've always seen the inter-band relationships like this: Harry likes Louis best and Louis likes Harry best, whereas Zayn likes Liam best but Liam likes Niall best. Louis is close with everyone though whereas Harry is really only close with Louis.

And One Direction's Louis Tomlinson decided to add fuel to the fire today but poking fun at The Wanted.
The cheeky singer, 20, was seen reading through a bargain book about the Chasing The Sun singers after stopping off at a pound shop with his band mate Liam Payne.
Louis seemed delighted to have found the unofficial guide to The Wanted in the budget store.
The Doncaster lad was seen laughing as he flicked through the pages making sure his actions were caught by plenty of fans and on camera.
While The Wanted have enjoyed incredible success One Direction have proved more successful thanks to their popularity in America and became the first band to enter the Billboard charts at the top spot with their debut album.
Quite why the boys, who have earned £35million as a band this year alone, needed to shop at a low-priced store is anyone's guess.
Liam and Louis were being followed by a camera crew for the day and were also seen picking up some food at a Starbucks.
And as ever where the heartthrobs went hordes of girls followed and the boys were flanked by a series of security guards.
Louis and Liam had taken time out from working with the rest of their band, who are currently recording their second album.
Today a new trailer for the upcoming series of X Factor has been released with One Direction speaking about their experience on the show.
Undoubtedly one of the biggest bands to come out of the UK, despite placing third on the talent contest, One Direction's Liam Payne reveals what his biggest memory was.
Payne tells: 'When we first stepped out those doors and you realise there are millions of people at home watching, that is always going to be the biggest memory for me.'

Harry and Louis aren't as close as they used to be. Niall is great with everyone in the band. It's pretty much a fact that everyone he meets gets alone with him, so I doubt he'd be kicked out. And in regard to a previous statement, no one expects Niall to have a successful solo career. I, however, think that he could be the surprise, unexpected success.

Niall is one of the most popular of the boys and he's got Ireland behind him, he can have an alright solo career.

I wonder if the boys will get any VMA noms? I'd be here for them getting Best Male/Best New Artist. They seem to be the only ones they have a chance to get nominated in, if they get nominated.

I think they will be nominated for Best New Artist, and I thought it would be an easy win but apparentely Carly is one of the favorites to win so, who knows.
