And what is the most spoken language? Chinese. China is slowly becoming really influential amd they will damn sure simplify the language

My country has a sutface of 10,452 square km, and a population of 4 million. A large portion of it is ignorant, but when you put 2 million, against 200 million, you're bound to lose.
And India has nothing to do with this, China is an organized country and a really powerful one, they have their **** together and know what they are doing.
|
And that's a bad thing, being scared of your country is doesn't compare to loving your country. Its better to be loved than feared (I hope you know where I got that from). I'm not acting like its defenseless. And and China and Russia are too, countries use nukes to cause fear.
Its actually over 300 million, and I'm bound to lose? That makes it sound like your country has a higher concentration of those people. And have you been to the US? Because if you had you'll have a different opinion. All of the people who came from a different country in this thread have expressed how warming the country is, and is nothing like its painted in the media. It seems like you have been suckered into sensationalism media, don't talk **** about a country you haven't been too.

Well, guess what the only people that actually believe this are your own population. Stop meddling in everything about the world and start thinking about lowering the average BMI in your country.
|
No one believed/trusted the government when the US invaded Iraq. Most Americans were pissed. The people knew that the government lied to them about the whole situation.
The wars the US have fought are more political wars than the people wars. As hard as it might be to believe the US citizens don't like going to war but their government does.

It still doesn't compare. Chinese is concentrated in China. While English is worldwide, I mean you're speaking English right now. And I guarantee that if you were to go around the web, English is the most spoken language. And its not even America's fault, blame it on the UK. English is the most flexible, language, which is why its the world language. No other language has the kind of flexibility. If they simplify the language, then that would make matters worse. If I'm not mistaken, many Chinese people can't even write the language. English has been the language for over 200 years now. Its not going anywhere.
Your falling in the same trap, a poster did earlier, with the language thing.

Not really, we need more countries to keep their citizens in CHECK.
And what sensationalism media? I barely watch tv. All I'm saying is based on what I see and hear from legitimate sources. Europe is better in every shape or form and that's why I would go to Switzerland, for example. It's just better there.

In Europe there is an economic meltdown, and a growing radical form of nationalism. Europe is not in better shape, if its economy keeps going the path it is now. Let me put it this way, at this point no country is in very good shape until the worlds economy gets better. And you're comparing a country that is smaller than a US state, and has a smaller population than the country. Every state is like its own country, the North States are as liberal as Europe and in as good of a state. What you see is the close-minded South. Which is why I want you to someday come to the US and go to both the South and North. You will see a huge difference in the way life is.

I made one mistake, so what. Its not like I'm typing a formal paper. And I know the difference. One is you are and the other is possessive, and that joke is tired and old already. Please bring something nice to the debate, and not a lame comment.

The whole of the world is in the recession.
Europe isn't the only continent in problem, every continent is having its problems and economics up and downs once in a while are inevitable. The world's economic could never be flawless, there's always some negative things to be pointed out. Europe was in the same economic position a few years ago as right now.

French was for a short period. Mostly in the 1700s. And is after English. And why do you seem so negative towards English? Its just a language you speak.

Europe is handling it better too by being united. I always admired the solidarity between them.

I don't know, it's kind of difficult to compare Europe with the U.S.A. Even though some of the Americans here think it would be more fair to compare some cities to countries, it wouldn't work that way. So many countries, so many different official languages, so many different faces. I think when people think of Europe, they look at Western Europe, and neglect Central and Eastern Europe who are both pretty flawed.

I'm from the UK and most people (I know) have a positive view of the USA. I love visiting and I think that there's so much to do. However, I'd still rather live in the UK, seeing as we're still such a wealthy country, as is America, we have free healthcare, there's never any severe weather like hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes etc and we're so close to mainland Europe. The USA and the UK and BFFs though lol

Well I'm from the UK, and the opinion is mixed really. On the one hand, it's recognised that it's a fantastic place for opportunities, and American people (namely tourists) are famous for being extremely polite (Where I work, it's Americans who always give the biggest smiles and ask how my day is) But on the other hand, a lot of Americans are viewed as ignorant, corrupt, greedy and uneducated. Your health service and government are heavily criticised, and gun crime is highly criticised as well. So yeah, I think America is okay, I'd never really want to live there, but there are definitely worse places to be
