The LM chat still tells me it's full even though it doesn't say full next to the room name.

I'm afraid the lead single is going to burn out fast before it has longevity because of radios overplaying it during the first couple of weeks

Right, so if she debuts at number two, which is still good either way, well...
In that case, number one ain't happenin'

Considering Bieber's chances were ruined by streaming, and his full week of sales gave him a bigger start than Gaga's 3-day period did, I would never say never, sis.

Number one debuts are possible if they upload it to Spotify and other streaming sites as the debut and also do a radio debut whenever they release it. Unfortunately Bieber was disadvantaged since it wasn't on Spotify immediately. If she debuts at Number 2 then the radio and stream increases of that week should help her for the next. I have hope

If a song is great, it'll go #1 no matter what.
IIRC We Found Love debut was a semi-flop then the song perched at #1 for 10th weeks

No you 're not understanding. The streaming has changed things. Radio is now not only required for the number 1's you need support on multiple formats. Streaming and sales (which are now accounted for as a smaller portion). Bieber would have gone number 1 under normal circumstances, but things had changed.

Putting a song up for streaming also has the potential to sacrifice debut sales numbers, which is why I'm sure that Bieber's team didn't put his single up for streaming services.
I'm really kinda amazed that no one ever thought of it that way, really. There's an incentive to not put it up there, which could hurt the overall chances.
Still, I hope for the best. Everything about the BTW was so... frontloaded though, so there's no telling what to expect.

It was hardly a flop at all. People don't seem to take heed to the fact that Rihanna's singles have never smashed their first week. Not to mention, it would have debuted in the top ten with a full week of sales.

It isn't hurting too much, remember the sales percentage has been lowered. Meaning you can chart higher while selling lower now. So If she booms in Streaming and Radio play for the debut she'll be good. But I think she'll still sell pretty well during the debut. They usually put the songs up around the 2nd or 3rd day of release depending on how popular.
Edit: Once again, Clash makes a great point. Debut # is not as important as overall longevity. I'd rather her debut at number 12 and rise to number 1 than to debut at number 1 and fall to number 50 in less than 10 weeks.

I'm not talking about the debut, I'm talking about its long run.
I don't think she'll debut at #1

Oh okay I read, I see what you mean now. But yeah I hope it's not like TFM again where she gets cockblocked by songs. I hate that, she always get stuck in between two popular radio songs while her songs sales are doing better than theirs.

Well, she could pull in Right Round numbers (which was about 626K) off fan support alone. That would get her to number one first week no matter what.
But when it gets to be that frontloaded, what next? "Born This Way" has yet to cross the 4M mark, which is depressing to say the least.
She'll do well in the long run if radio gets enough audience data (requests through MediaBase, Twitter, etc.). I just don't wanna see her get dropped like a hot potato and have her lead single crumble to dust months before the album even drops.

I agree sis I hope this time radio doesn't use her up so fast and then throw her away. They better savor her.

Kesha was selling better than Gaga. However, Jay-Z wasn't, yet his "Empire State Of Mind" was such a radio smash that it compensated.
