Joke or not, that isn't what'll be taken from it, given how all Madonna has been doing has been to amuse herself. With that in mind, think about how these "jokes" have been presented in the media.
That's why it's a joke, she joked with HER FANS in her OWN WEBSITE, it's not like she's throwing shade in every interview JUST to make the headlines.
