I was thinking the 1st single in the middle of sept and the 2nd single in the middle of jan so she can perform it at the grammys and then release the album the first week of the Feb ! I think she wants a full year of Sales which is smart ! I want this album to have longitivity

Yes. This is pretty accurate. However, if the lead has great longevity, she doesn't even have to release a 2nd single YET til after album release. We don't want a WFL/YDO situation.

She could easily just do one show or something for a single, an album requires more consistent promotion to avoid a slump. (Also depends on if she does one or two singles.)

If she's touring in the US, she could easily fly to NYC and/or LA to do TV shows. Hence the early 2013 release, when the Born This Way Ball arrives.

It would clearly be lost within the December freeze and flop on radio just like Marry The Night did.

If she did one in September or November, they would take off before the freeze.

Dec. release for a single is definitely not in the cards though, I agree.

Not necessarily, I just don't want her to pull another BTW and release the lead 3 months before the album just in case the first single doesn't have longevity
