What an EPIC cover of "Wide Awake" by Kelly. Absolutely loved it....it's kinda weird the way the song was set last night (melody, tempo, Kelly's voice), it was so much more emotional and kinda gave the song a sad meaning (hence Kelly loving the "sad songs" ) It was just perfect

I'm thinking a Rihanna cover possibly. I'm picturing WFL. Starting out slow and then picking up into the regular/dance version.
Rihanna's performance at the grammys was really good. The stripped version that segwayed into the original mix was captivating. I would actually love it if Kelly sang the original tempo and beat but she's never going to. She strips all her songs down. But I would still love to see an acoustic WFL cover. Sung by only the most flawless artists.

The wide awake cover is so pretty. She make it sound like any of her ballads classic. I'm so sorry for those who doesn't appreciate that performance tho.
