The live version is much better. :/ I'm with the crowd though that really wants to get into her, but just finds her so blah. How We Do is cute but it's generic as all get out. Glad she's doing well in the UK, but she's not gonna be doing much to stand out elsewhere if she keeps releasing these relatively forgettable songs. With that voice of hers, she just deserves better material with more personality.
I haven't found myself intrigued by anything but "How We Do". "R.I.P.," "Hot Right Now," and this are really terrible. I'll still listen to the album, but she's giving me Jessie J teas as far as me being excited with "Do It Like A Dude" then came the slew of hot messes.
I loved the live version of this song, so I was disappointed by the studio version...but now I love it, after listening to it several times. This bops Not every song has to have a dance-melody or amazing vocals. Although I'd love for it to be more aggressive and hard-hitting....
But really, Rita (and Beyoncé) should never perform songs before releasing the studio versions
