Kelly Clarkson to perform free concert at Fort Campbell
Kelly Clarkson, whose hits like “Since You Been Gone,” “Miss Independent” and “My Life Would Suck Without You” have swept the airwaves for the last decade, is coming to Fort Campbell Aug. 13 for the big Week of the Eagles celebration.
And the concert is free.
Clarkson broke out with “American Idol” success on the show’s first season in 2002. Since then, she’s sold over 20 million albums worldwide and notched seven singles on the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, according to a bio on her website.
Her accolades include two Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards and 11 Billboard Music Awards.
She’s currently on tour with her fifth album, “Stronger,” released in October, which features the hit singles “Mr. Know It All” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).”
Her stop at Fort Campbell will be at the Division Parade Field, Monday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. It is a free concert, so be prepared for a crowd.
