No but seriously, I wouldn't read too much into its lyrics. I doubt she wrote ALL of her demos, and, even if she did, they probably weren't all based on her own experiences.

I think it's really cool that she actually called it "The Harold Song". She doesn't directly mention him once, so you would of expected her to title it "True Love Hurts" or something, but I think it's more creative the way that it is. It's about Harold, thus "The Harold Song". It's simple but effective and different.
