I need advice from all y'all who are already in college: where is the cheapest online place to buy/rent textbooks? Lord knows I need to save money the easiest way possible, and by saving on a book I will rarely use seems like a good idea.

In UK college is different. First theres college which is a litle like High School and then comes Uni. I'm currently in college doing A-levels in Sociology, History, Maths and Psychology. I want to major in Creative Writing with a minor in either Psychology or Sociology (I'm undecided yet)

I HATE having to sign up for Co-requisite and Sequence classes.I had to sign up for an English lab last year because all the regular English classes were taken.

ugh, that had me so pissed off that I just ended up choosing whatever open classes were available that counted for general ed

but I love my first semester schedule

I was going to take Small Group Communication but I had issues enrolling in it, so imma take Speech Comm Fundamentals next semester.

I'm just GLAD that I finally got my schedule done. I can't wait to move in and start

My school's starting tomorrow but i'm taking the semester off to go pay for school rn.I'm planning on going back in winter so I can retake a few classes,build my disastrous GPA and credits up so I can (hopefully) transfer out of my current school.

Why? Never buy textbooks ahead of time. Wait until the first few days. The professors sometimes never uses them, or make a friend who has one and share there's. Or you can just copy them from the library. Textbooks are freaking expensive.

I'm the same situation, but I liked the dorm life. I could only do it for one year though. There were so many aspects to it that I hated (my male RA, douches, I NEED SOME ALONE TIME etc). I'm moving up to my new place on the 20th so a week of partying before school starts whoo!

I'm doing more classes geared towards my major, thank God. I've got four business classes, one is management which is my option, and then only one GE with history and that'll be super easy.
