I think it's like how each single has charted. So if she has 2 singles out and they both chart at the same time in the top 75 for 1 year, that's 52 weeks each, totaling 104 weeks for her.

Just to point out - it is definitely Cliff Richard (not the Beatles) who is in 2nd place;

1. Elvis Presley 1,171 weeks
2. Cliff Richard 1,144 weeks
3. The Shadows 769 weeks*

Princess Of China is a duet, not a feature. And why does it matter? First, we're not saying it's "her song." We're saying it counts as a song in her discography because she contributed her vocals to it. That's like saying Madonna can't count Me Against The Music or something.

The way they calculated it is a bit strange, but it's not like they lied.

So that's just under seven years - call it around 360 actual weeks (52 x 7 = 364).

And she has racked up 738 weeks on the chart.

So on average she has had just over two songs on the chart every week for the past 7 years.
