The analogy is not valid at ALL. The way credits work nowadays are completely different to how they worked then. People can get credits for the slightest things. Also, the credits also included the Pon De Floor producers. You cannot compare Bohemian Rhapsody to Run the World, like seriously! She was looking for trouble (attention?) though tbh...

Bey's song isnt RnB tho. RTW producers a dancehall/pop track from another group and looped military style drums on it. Thats why they have credit. So iis pretty much a good enough example as any other song.


And In what lifetime does R&B use samples? R&B has rarely ever had samples until EVERYBODY started sampling in the 2000's, and even now its very rare.

Whoever made this comparison does the exact same thing mariska does: compare two unlike songs or take one weak song out of an artist's catalog and compare it to a strong song by another artist to prove a point.

Ellie has her opinion and I understand her point, but she just comes off extremely pretentious and should know better. "Bulletproof," her only hit, isn't some lyrical masterpiece either, no matter how many writers it took to come up with those lyrics. I can analyze her song and point out the flaws it has, from the lyrics down to her high-pitched vocals. She just comes off as a music elitist at times.
