Robson. Finally, a breakthrough! She's into her first SF on her worst surface. Beating too solid CC players along the way. It will be interesting to see how far Robson and Watson can rise.

This is disgusting, Cibulkova is a cheating MESS and that umpire sucks.
I don't like her either. Stop hating on Kvitty Kworb. You're turning her into the new Ana.
Who do you like besides Aga? I like her too, but sometimes it's so frustrating to watch her when she plays against the top players. There's very little she can do. Kvitova and Kerber are probably my favourite players atm. I never really saw Kerber play before Stuttgart tbh. I saw her lose to Robson at Wimbledon last year but I never took much notice of her at the time. She has a really solid, all-rounded game and she reminds me of Dementieva. Who was one of my all-time favourites.
When she plays well, Kerber is a delight to watch. She destroyed Caroline in Stuttgart. Her shots are measured, she's a clever player and is proving to be consistent on all surfaces. I still think her meteoric rise is quite odd though. I've been following the tour for a decade now and I've never seen someone make such significant improvements within the space of a year, especially when she's been around for quite some time. Errani's the same, but besides her run at RG she hasn't had to beat any top players along the way. I'm not really impressed with her game.
I like most of the German players. I think Julia has a lot of potential, but her ranking is really starting to stagnate and she's way too inconsistent. I hope Petkovic returns soon. I think she's still entered to play the Olympics, but her ranking is really going to start plummeting soon. I like Vika, but I see why she's not popular. Maria, when she plays well is great, but I'm not really the biggest fan of her game. Her power seems to be so forced, it's not effortless like it is with Petra. I really hope the younger players start to come through. Watson and Robson have potential, and I think Stephens has a great game too. The tour has been so up and down this year but that's why I've loved it. I'm glad we have true #1s, and there's a really sense of competition again. New rivalries are developing, and things are starting to look up. We just need the top players to play more consistently. The top four are, bar some minor blips. I think Petra will ne a contender again once her form picks up, and Kerber will probably be a threat at slams too. Wozniacki is a huge question mark. I hope she doesn't go the way of JJ.
A-Chak. I love her, but she's probably never going to be a top player again. She kind of reminds me of Jelena Dokic in that regard. So much wasted potential.
