Sparks Fly peaked at #1 first on HCS compared to Crazy Girl, a more than 30-weeks old song that still managed to top the charts. Not a competition?
It was Miranda Lambert's lead single. Not a competition? I can still recall the daily updates how BC and SF are like in a roller-coaster ride.
Lady Antebellum? Sparks Fly was about to peak when radio played their song so hard. Not a competition? Directly no. but indirectly, YES.
Competition is not just in the moment of peaking.
