Obviously you haven't listened to the song well or you're just too prejudiced and your blinded by the presumption about Taylor's theme being "all-boy-related"
Taylor wrote Mean after a critic bashed and dragged her to the pits because of her Grammy 2010 performance. I mean if it's about a relationship, would the guy really claim that she couldn't sing and would it affect their relationship since Mean has lyrics that go like this:
