at people thinking someone in this musical climate should be able to sell 30 Million singles AND 10 million albums from the same album, in the US alone.
Get serious. Katy's doing amazing. It's practically impossible to sell massively in both albums and singles at the same time and there is absolutely no reason to act like she's useless at selling. Y'all are acting like she had barely scraped 1 million worldwide. No. She is on the same level album-sales wise as Lady Gaga and Rihannas latest efforts whilst selling 10-20 million more singles in the US alone.
Seriously, think through your ********. I would rather have Katy Perry levels of record selling success than any other current popstar (Adele excluded, she's a massive exception to the rule)
get those sales, I need you to surpass 2.5m soon
