It took me about 4 hours to track them and notch them down to 1 HP each, and 4 hours to find them, trap them in the battle w/ Mean Look, Hypnotize them, and chuck Pokeballs at them until they either roared me out of the battle or killed my Haunter. Ugh, I ****ing DESERVED THAT ****.

@Attitude - Lessors use Master Balls to catch Roaming Legendaries; men use Dusk Balls.

I remember how hard it was to catch them too. I caught Raikou reasonably quickly with an Ultra Ball (I think it took about an hour) but Entei took ages, and my Golbat which knew Mean Look kept fainting because it used Flamethrower. I went back to try again the next day and caught Entei with an Ultra Ball on the first try. The feeling when you catch them though.

Yeah, I chased him out of Johto and now he's in Kanto. Now I just have to finish the 8th gym and finish the Elite Four and I'm ready for Kanto, and I'll probably devote most of my beginning time in Kanto tracking down Suicune. And, more than likely, it'll be a 1am meltdown when I catch it like I did tonight.

I think Suicune is an 'interact' Pokemon though, in Kanto, so it'll be much easier to track down and you won't have to keep chasing it around.

The problem is that because I've been focusing so much on just catching them, my Pokemon are all under-leveled. My highest leveled Pokemon is my Feraligatr which is about to be a level 34, and Entei and Raikou are both level 40.


I dunno what to do with my Arcanine though. I love it so much and it slays so hard, but Entei is obviously superior to it. I don't wanna let it go (or, at least, put it in storage).

I, however, intentionally didn't get an Electric Pokemon. Raikou *****.

You can train all your Pokemon up quite a lot on the way to and through Victory Road, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I love Arcanine. I'd probably just keep both because of how powerful they are/look, but yeah, I guess it'd be more sensible to find a new type.

Oh and also... my party right now is: Feraligatr, Entei, Raikou, Gyarados, Pidgeotto (I need a new ), and Haunter. I want to replace essentially the second half of my party except maybe Haunter, who would be really helpful in fighting the Elite Four. Anyone with suggestions would be loved.

Well damn @ that level 88 Crobat. I do NOT use Zubats or Golbats so it'd be so difficult for me to tolerate them long enough to get a damn Crobats.


Pretty spiffy team, though. Mine is so all over the place; I can't wait till I get to Kanto and I get a whole array of new Pokemon to explore. Mine right now is 3 legendary Pokemon, my starter, the Shiny Gyarados, and a waaay underleveled Haunter. I'm gonna re-organize that cause it's a damn mess at this point, honestly.
