As much as I love Hair, it probably would've been better as a ballad. Her piano performances of it are incredible. The Edge of Glory would make a great ballad as well, but the upbeat dance version sounds amazing so I'm fine with that being as it is.

I feel like The Queen (without all that stupid stuttering) and You and I could've been great piano ballads. Born This Way, as much as I love the whole album, is a bit overproduced at points and part of why it's so hard to get through is that it literally is nonstop "sledgehammering dance beats" with a lot of random, seemingly unnecessary industrial noise. One or two piano ballads would've broken that up a bit over the course of 17 songs and would've made the album much better.

Not likely. I think it's almost guaranteed the album will be full electro/dance, with Zedd, DJWS, and Garibay as producers...

The only chance at a ballad is Princess Die, and even then, that'll probably be danceified to a degree:

Yes! I was arguing about this the other day, Hair should've been a ballad. But I still love it otherwise.
