There were some really good auditions. The little girl who sang "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone. Wow! It was probably the best child audition I've seen from any singing competition. Also, this girl sang Who You Are by Jessie J and had everyone in tears. Demi went on stage was was hugging her and talking to her. There were also some horrible ones.
Britney was the only person who didn't interact with the audience. And although the person who brought her roses was a bad singer, he was a really big fan and just wanted to give her the roses. Britney just ignored him, and I guess Simon felt bad so he took the roses. When he walked off he gave a sarcastic "Thanks For Everything" to Britney.
Demi is a surprisingly really great judge! I agreed with everything she said, and she gave all the contestants really good feedback.
Throughout the breaks, the host had audience members sing. One girl sang 1+1, and another girl sang Deja Vu. They did pretty good.
I can't wait to watch the performances on TV.

I agree with everything. I had a great time as well. There were definitely some amazing ones and some not good ones at all either. The first kid was a cocky 14 year old rapper who they called out for answering them almost disrespectfully (he just had a really douchey persona) but they still let him through. The first 13 year old girl that performed was amazing and everyone was really into it. Demi's reactions were great. Also, I agree, the girl who sang the Jessie J song was great. It was a touching moment when Demi got up there and hugged her, and the girls family came out. I'm sure that will make it on air.
I have to agree with you about the judges too. I was excited to see Britney and indifferent about Demi. When I left, I thought Demi was great and Britney was kind of a dud. Whoever is saying that she is getting better at judging...well she must not have been too great before. She didn't offer much and could have been a little more interactive with the audience, in my opinion.
