Performing a couple of hip hop songs during one leg of the tour doesn't change the fact that Nicki's been pushing her pop songs harder than her hip hop ones this WHOLE era.

The general public only sees the pop hits. Starships is what made her worldwide. She's a bigger pop personality whether you want to admit it or not.

It's unfair to compare Nicki's accomplishments to other female rappers because she's become one of the pop girls.

Starships and BITT had the same promotion, Starships is 5 million ww, BITT is nowhere near that. You cant really blame her.

Is it Nicki's fault that radio has been eating up her Pop songs in comparison to her Urban songs?

I don't even give a **** because whatever Nicki does, even when it stems from her Pop songs will always be in conjunction with Hip-Hop, so even if it's because of Starships that Nicki's doing arenas, she'll still be the FIRST FEMALE RAPPER to do it.

BITT will remain at #6 on Urban as Nicki tours the world.

I meant promotional performances. Starships was performed on national television multiple times to promote it. BITT wasn't given the same treatment. Nicki threw a video at it and sent it to urban radio.

BITT was peformed at 106 & Park. RBMS was given the same promotional performances at Starships, and it didn't make any noise.

Like I said, Champion will be performed at the BET Awards, unless she does BITT/RBMS, so the outcome of that in comparison with PTA can't be "she didn't give it any promotion".

Oh...well now that you put it that way...I kind of agree. She has pushing and promoting the hell out of these pop singles...hell, RBMS got more promotion than BITT and it still flopped Come to think of it, the only thing BITT had going for it was the video and the requesting to stations to get it to play...I think that's what kept it going for so long.

All I'm saying is, even though Nicki will ALWAYS be connected to Hip Hop and the rap game, her pop songs are what has given her the opportunity to do arenas. I don't think it's fair to act like her urban songs is what has brought her this far, which is what is implied by saying she's the first female rapper to do so.

And she's been pushing her pop songs harder then her rap ones, no matter what you say.
