She did the same thing for The Monster Ball, right? The Fame Monster songs had the orbit, the living dress, the fire piano, etc., while The Fame songs had just typical performances. I think the older songs on the BTW Ball get fine treatment. For me, Poker Face's performance is one of the tour's highlights.
