Today is a big day on ATRL. The sequel to the Madonna Songs Countdown has arrived. Instead of rating The Queen Of Pop's massive discography, we now are going to rate her videography. Just as big, just as impressive, just as iconic.
How are we going to do that?
It will be very simple. Just PM me your personal top 10 of Madonna videos. Nothing more, nothing less. The deadline probably will be coming Sunday (the 31st of June) but nothing is set in stone: those who need more time will receive it when requested.
If it will be that simple, how will we do the countdown then?
EDIT: Following the advice of the good sis madonnas, also host of the first Madonna countdown, the rating system has changed. Instead of receiving 10 points, the #1 on your top 10 will receive 20 points. #2 will receive 19 points, #10 will receive 11 points, et cetera. This all to keep some of the videos from having very little scores.
Which videos are eligible?
A list of all the videos participating will be posted soon. The good sis Wikipedia has ofcourse created a list, but it confusingly also features duds like ''Another Suitcase In Another Hall'' and it unnecessarily mentions ''Holiday'' (which doesn't have a video as you all should already know). This all can be somewhat confusing for the not-so-smart participants.
In a nutshell: PM me your personal top 10 Madonna videos by Sunday. Expect excessive stalking by your favourite host soon.

Sadly the laziness in me took over and I decided not to make a list of all the videos eligible. Just use the list of Wikipedia and watch out for a few exceptions:
1. ''Holiday'' had no video at all. Please don't vote for it.
2. Don't vote for ''Bye Bye Baby''. It apparently has two live videos but to avoid confusion it will not participate.
3. When voting for ''American Life'', you vote for the original version. Only trolls would vote for the greenscreen replacement and the original is utterly superior anyway. Don't worry by the way: it's all over YouTube.
4. We won't wait for ''Turn Up the Radio''.

I actually thought of starting the countdown with a list of videos which received an incredibly small amount of points, before starting the real thing. Which could be risky if only a small amount receives a decent amount of votes. We'll see how it'll turn out.

Well, idk, 1 point for a video on a list is just abysmally low. But if you're gonna focus mainly on the top 3-4 I guess it works. She has like ~50 videos though so top 10 should be powerful cuz they're all good.

I just sent my votes in, she has so many great videos that it was hard to narrow it down to just 10. I didn't even include "Material girl" and "Papa don't preach"
Two tips from the host:
1. Try to ignore the audio as much as possible. A horrible song can have amazing visuals: be aware of that.
2. Vote for your own opinion. Don't be afraid to choose a less loved video (e.g. ''Bad Girl'') over a praised one (e.g. ''Like A Prayer'').
