Oh, I didn't know Gaga was saying that she didn't want to replicate the sound. I thought she didn't want to have another #1 hit and I was like what

Oh, haha. The way I took it, she meant she doesn't want to do that sound. I'm sure she's hungry for another #1 despite her claims to the opposite. 
Gaga can still do dance, but she has to do something different. Dr. Luke's generic messes made everyone get sick of the dance sound, so it's time for her of all people to do something different.

Lighter everything is a dumb popstar. I think what she means by more serious lyrics is more of "I'm on the edge of something final we call life" and less of "let's go partying on a friday night after dark. kiss me **** me suck me."

No.
I've always said that for her next album she should have a lighter image, lighter music together with lighter lyrics meaning that they just need to be more accessible and less complicated.
I don't want an album full of generic tunes and I know she'll never release one like that again.
If the infos are true, I'm already happy reading that she won't sing about religion again.

This, there's only so much she is able to push the religion card without seriously going overboard. I like the songs don't get me wrong put if she started on other religion.....

It doesn't mean that at all. You wouldn't think that one line in BM "We are not just art for Michelangelo to carve..." would fit, but it did. She has an innate way to make weird words and phrases work in pop songs.

By that, I mean that the nature of the lyrics don't fit with how the music seems to sound. An upbeat song with sad lyrics, for instance.
Scheisse would be an example.

Yes.
The Edge of Glory is a great Pop song: it has a great tune, a catchy chorus, a story behind it but the lyrics are easy to understand also to the general public.
Anyway, you all know that some party songs are not a bad thing.
Hit singles are important in commercial music, let's not try to deny it

I think that's what I like about her music so much. There's always a contrast, whether it be the lyrical meaning, or the beats, and it makes it interesting, in my opinion.

Like I said in my earlier post, an album with nothing but TEOG's siblings would be so perfect. I think the reason it did so well is because it's just a pure fun, carefree song. It always makes me happy when I listen to it.
