Totally. Like, don't get me wrong... I love A/C as much as anyone else here. It was a fantastic era and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I actually think of Animal as the best mainstream pop album of the decade thus far. So I'm definitely not looking down on that side of her at all.
But I love it when artists I admire take risks and make conscious efforts to expand their sound and delve into new genres and subjects as time goes by. I don't want her to repeat herself. I believe in my heart of hearts that she's totally capable of pulling this **** pop thing off and that her new album era, if executed correctly, could breathe new life into the entire industry. And now I wanna see it happen.

No way! That outfit was amazing. I loved the fact that it was crafted out of trash bags. I thought it was such a clever and tongue-in-cheek (/chic) way of kinda giving the finger to all her critics and detractors who just love nothing more than to call her trash. It was like, "Okay, fine, I may be trash, but here I am at the VMAs with a bunch of nominations and having the time of my life with loads of fans all over the world... all while looking like a million bucks." Omg, yeah. I really liked her singles and thought she was hella pretty, but for some reason my appreciation for her kinda just stopped there and stayed that way for months. I think I became a fan when I first saw the YLIMD video on one of the music channels one morning after it had just been released, and a full-on stan by the VMAs. It took me till the end of the Animal era to really start following her online and stuff though. Like, I'm pretty sure the first time I visited KeshaDaily was at the end of August 2010. It kinda sucks that I had to experience so many amazing things "second-hand" (for want of a better word).
But hey, at least we'll both be able to enjoy every single moment of this upcoming era right as it's happening. So stoked.

i know what you mean. i think i became a full-on ke$ha stan a month after them music video of blow was released, i became obsessed with her. i would look her up online for hours hahaaha, but it's been so long now there's barely anything more for me to discover about her, esp since her EP was released over a year ago. we all need something new and it's what we're going to get
I don't think Katy and Ke$ha are friends anymore unfortunately, Rihanna and her went on tour together so I'm surprised they aren't better friends and I'm pretty sure Gaga only thinks of her as that bitch who stopped Bad Romance going #1. I really like how she describes herself as the Pop girls dirty younger sister because its humble and 100% true in some ways

I think Rihanna likes her tbh.. otherwise she wouldn't even of mentioned her at all, Gaga i think she knows who she is, i just have no idea what she thinks of her.
I really hope she is the IT girl for the second half of this year/next year, everyone is getting over Gaga (musically) and Rihanna brings out another album year after year and isn't getting bigger or smaller, Katy could be competition but i think Katy and ke$ha can co-exist well
i wonder if britney and ke$ha still communicate regularly. i mean, after ke$ha sent that happy birthday video to her we haven't really seen them really communicate to each other at all.
