I was thinking about next year's Forbes "Celebrity 100" list and I can't see why Gaga wouldn't top it. The list takes media presence, net worth, money made, and social networking into account, so here's why I think Gaga will take the top spot.
- $100,000,000 from just touring.
- $20,000,000 from music sales, endorsements, and merchandise sales.
- 30,000,000 Twitter followers and 55,000,000 Facebook likes by time the list is put out.
- Hundreds, even thousands of media headlines generated because of the tour, perfume, and new music.
- One of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
- Successful new album and singles.
Her only competition will be Bieber, but she will make more than Bieber because her touring contract is worth more and she will have more Facebook likes, media presence, and Twitter followers.
I was okay with her only being at #5 (or was it #4) this year, but I will be very mad if she doesn't top it in 2013.
