I'm not talking about that. I don't care if the video has to make me think. I'm referring to the poor editing, lack of striking visuals, and the jumps between shots being too messy.

I liked WHYB, it was a good improvement on her videos. It had nice cinematography, but I don't think it compares to Judas or Marry The Night.

Born This Way and Alejandro got a lot of undeserving flack. Both of them were very gaudy and unappealing, but I think a lot of people just mistakenly assumed she wanted controversy. I'll admit the opening part to Born This Way is kind of stupid, but the rest of it had was very good.

Again, hard to understand =/= bad. At least not in all cases. The You And I video really ****ed itself up because of the editing. Judas just had a plot that was confusing to some because they don't actually know the story of Judas.

Born This Way had some questionable editing, MTN for the most part didn't.

Good cinematography doesn't have to be striking. The ballerina scene with the fairies, the stretcher scene, the mental hospital, the break-down, etc. It wasn't supposed to be shocking. It was supposed to be solemn.

The opening of Marry The Night was professionally flawless and flowed like an avant-garde short film.

And I'll admit You And I was bad. Really, really, really bad.

All I will say is besides the videos judas and btw
The btw videos didn't leave me feeling visually impressed

Part of it had to do with her being the "it" girl, so no. But I do think this lead single/video is a chance for her to redeem herself in that regard. But will she do it?

Everybody peaks and falls. It doesn't bother me that much, because the anticipation of her videos shouldn't have anything to do with the quality of them.

Marry The Night is not a bad music video. It's well-acted, invokes a wide-range of emotion, and is conceptually amazing and has very, very stunning cinematography. It isn't exactly shocking like in Bad Romance, but it's still good.
