Put the stan goggles down, and you will realize that Speak Now was not her standard of good album. The songs are amazing. But the sentimentality that exists in every song made it bad. And it didn't work as an album just like LP1 & LP2. Let me stop here with LP3 before ppl get all hot and hit the report button.

I agree . it just didn't work as well as a whole album .

You really think someone in our own base would be so pressed to report you?

She needs to do MORE performances. Award shows, talk shows, and big festivals (US/Asia/Europe). Howard Stern and Jools Holland for example. And do a promo interview with GMA and Larry King. SNL musical guest too. Not just interviews & magazine covers (please ditch the later, my Queen). Hell even a theaters tour if it needed.
And don't do extreme discounts. Remember when everyone dragged SN's first week record sales because of Amazon deal, which was only factored for 40k of 1,047?
Also agree with Bahjat that it seems like BMR was trying to protect her career. Good move.
She didn't get dragged down that badly, if you know what I mean.
Her lead single and promotional singles will define her debut sales
I predict 700k-900k, but Lil Wayne could maintain his 1mil sales in debut week without any over-rated thing in previous era, so I still believe that Taylor can do it again
And I just watched Jason Mraz's lyric videos and Wide Awake's trailer
God, tell Taylor that she should make a good video for her lead single

And most people seem to have forgotten about Taylor's Amazon discount.
Even without the discount, Taylor passed 1m and even if Billboard's rule change had already been in effect, the sales would've counted because it was discounted to $3.99.
The album cover better be indie like which usually means hauntingly gorgeous. Or she can go with the trend of a close-up. I wouldn't mind either. If it was a close-up. Straight bangs to symbolise change but a bit curly to show she's not leaving all her roots.

Yes, my thoughts too.
Yeah, and she could always discount it 3 weeks after the release to $0.99 because Billboard accepts it. Not like she needs to anyway.
