(It would be interesting if someone would gather a list of quotes from various legends that have spoken about Taylor, like Kris Kristofferson, Vince Gill, James Taylor and others. I know there have been others but I can't remember them at the moment)

Also for a concept album....How about a journey through music styles, like early country-60s-70s-outlaw country-folk-folkrock-rock-rap etc. Not exactly in that order, and add a couple other styles too. I wonder if that's ever been done, with that as the basic concept? I bet Taylor could do it

But last time she was coming off a potentially career-ending (according to some critics) Grammy performance as well. So its hard to predict.

Depends a lot how good will the promo be. Kind of worried about that, Big Machine was lazy as **** with the last era. They need to stop assuming that they can sell based on Taylor`s name alone. I need another Target deal, Itunes promo countdown, discounts, performances.

She needs to do MORE performances. Award shows, talk shows, and big festivals (US/Asia/Europe). Howard Stern and Jools Holland for example. And do a promo interview with GMA and Larry King. SNL musical guest too. Not just interviews & magazine covers (please ditch the later, my Queen). Hell even a theaters tour if it needed.

And don't do extreme discounts. Remember when everyone dragged SN's first week record sales because of Amazon deal, which was only factored for 40k of 1,047?

Exactly ! if she works a little harder with the same promo that Speak Now had , she could work a million .
And they need to promote the first single as well ! more award shows performances . Mine had none .

And I thought about it the other day , do you think that Mine would've sold as much in 4 days if it didn't leak ?

I feel like the leak gave it more exposure with everyone saying '' TAYLOR'S NEW SINGLE LEAKED !!! '' including me . I remember trying to trend '' Mine '' with a lot of fans for HOURS but it didn't work .

I mean .. there was almost no promo for the song . what do you think ?
