Jon McLaughlin's voice is one of four instruments he has mastered, including the piano, guitar, and harmonica. Jon can usually be found at the piano, though, and the way he's able to weave his voice in and out of staggeringly complex piano melodies is the mark of a true genius. This is not to mention his incredible ability to convey emotion; his lyrics draw from his own happy relationship with his wife as well as the devastating heartbreaks his friends have experienced, and his soulful, jazzy voice captures it all.
