I know I'm late but my opinion of much the stuff y'all discussed today is that I think that Selena doesn't wanna do much with her music since she clearly doesn't want it to overshadow her main job which is acting. That's why I believe that she holds back in most of the stuff related to music and why she never takes it serious as too writing and being really involved with the creating process.
I'm really excited for this next album since I'm sure that it'll prove her as an artist. She seems a lot more excited and dtermined to make it a great album. The fact that she's already describing it as "her best album" and that she wants to work with producers who would most likely reject her, is something to surely be excited about. Especially since it's the first time she says something like that about her album other than saying that she wants it to be "fun" and that it's something you can dance to.

I'd be OK with it tbh.
I don't know of any label that treats ALL their artists well..
I think she would have a hard time competiting with for example Katy Perry on capitol..
Plus HWR seems to be investing more into their artists.. More singles and stuff..
but Believe is flawless.
