Except that instead of blaming Washington as a whole she singles out Obama who actually fought for proper health care in the US.
I guess she blamed him because he is the head of Washington and the president of the US maybe it wasn't the right person to approach to, but the message is still based on reality and pure truth!
Y'all doing too much, she ain't dragging anybody, she's stating the truth but of course since she's Nicki she'll get dragged for even doing something right.
Why is she getting hate for this? She's just saying things that other countries are capable of doing that the U.S. SHOULD be capable of doing. If we'd stop warring with other countries for 2 minutes, then we might be able to get free health care.
I like the fact that we have free health care, but it's mainly an advantage for the big stuff (surgeries, cancer treatment, hospitalization, etc) but we still have to pay for pills and dentists. But usually everyone is covered by their employer.
She has a very valid point. However, I wouldn't be blaming Obama since it's the Republican party that is opposed to this and have been rejecting healthcare bills. She should instead be asking the Republican party and her senator why they won't pass a universal healthcare bill.
There have already been massive improvements on the health care system, it's not that easy to just put our country in further debt, it has to gradually happen.
Personally, I like the way it is now because I don't have to wait 3 months to get an appointment like you do in some countries with free healthcare and it's not like we don't pay enough taxes to begin with.
If she's so passionate about it, she should take it a step further and attempt to communicate with the president directly, it's not like Obama is on Twitter himself right now looking at Nicki Minaj's timeline.
