It helps to focus on impulse buyers. Most of the time all of the tickets don't go on sale right away. They usually sell seats to radio stations and then half of it goes to a second "normal" sale date where the people who missed the impulse date can buy their tickets regularly. This happened in Austrailia and many of the other dates from the first part of the leg as well.
I have money saved up for tickets already. My main obstacle is getting the tickets fast enough. When she first came to Detroit during TMB, I had tickets but i also caught a nasty case of laryngitis 3 days before the show began and i couldn't go. The second time she came here, they were all sold out before I could get to them.

I think they're mentioning like backstage passes to get a hand signed one and a picture. Because I know they charge for bought autographs since they have to be printed and such which is an utter mess
