I really want Miley to release a song on the album that tells us what she went through with all the Can't Be Tamed backlash. A ballad of some sort. I know that much hate can hurt a person. "Still Me" "Hurt" would be a great songs title for it. I dunno I think she should approach the situation in a mature way instead of an uptempo flip off like Can't Be Tamed was. A lot more people would warm up to her.

I'm just ranting don't mind me.
I'm here for this. Ordinary Girl was an alright attempt from Disney, but I need something from her that will make people weep uncontrollably.
I'm just wondering how she's gonna fit her usual ballads on the new album, without them sounding out of place like they did on CBT.
I'll be happy as long as it's not totally like CBT, I mean it was one of her best albums so far. But I think a more mature sound and a more sophisticated image would be so much better and she could achieve this with songs like that.

I want something mature, definitely. But I also want something like Party In The USA that can appeal to her young fans (what's left of them ) as well as the general pop audience. Party In The USA and The Climb are anthems, she needs to deliver something with universal appeal like that again.

Well Can't Be Tamed was a straight dance album. Not even pop at some moments. I think she can have more room with the urban direction she's going in. She just needs to organize the tracks so that it goes from 3 up-tempo songs, to a ballad, to a mid-tempo, then back to up-tempo songs. Can't Be Tamed's track listing was a mess.

Right? You go directly from the bop that is Permanent December to that dreary mess Stay.
I dream of the album starting with a 1-2 minute long massive, electro-house instrumental intro with dubstep influences, and sounds of people cheering and camera flashes, then it'll all drop to silence, then it'll lead into the personal ballad about all the backlash, etc. Then she'll have maybe one or two ballads, then a mid-tempo or two, then 5-6 up-tempos then end with another ballad. It'd fit perfectly with the whole "Phoenix" theme that I have in mind for her.

The most people we've had in here in forever.
Hey now sister, we've had a bunch of people in here at the same time on plenty of occasions. This thread just seems to randomly get surges of discussion, then it drops off to the second page to rot and collect dust.

Why the hell am I not Miley's manager.
What is this Stay shade? It's one of her best ballads to date. You should be hating that disaster Scars. Your description of what her album sounds great, but I don't know if Miley can pull off dubstep. Her voice is too poppy/country for it. I don't know what to expect from this urban thing. Demi tried it and it didn't go so well with the public. Her pop songs received more attention from the fans. As for dubstep, I think we can expect at least one hard core Hold It Against Me breakdwon. What is this Phoenix theme though?
I don't know if she's working with Dr. Luke anymore....that was a year ago.
AT LEAST Miley isn't making some country album. Anything Disney had me seething for months with their constant suggestions of her making it happen. For one, it would flop. Two, Miley is good on a few country songs, but after awhile it gets boring. (Lonesome per say )
I agree, I'm glad she isn't doing a country album cause it would flop so bad.
She has so much stage presence so she would waste her talent on country music.
Her music is to dance for and to be fun!!

Best ballad my EYE. Even Simple Song slays that downer.
My hatred for Stay is so strange and unwarranted even for me, but the lyrics are so basic and cliche, the production is like a rejection OneRepublic song, the melody is so uninteresting... I just. The fact that everyone loves it upsets me even more.
But what is this n o n s e n s e about Miley not being able to pull of dubstep? I will not stand for such a lie.
Miley was pulling off dubstep back before these gerls even knew what it was.
The whole Demi comparison is a bit odd for me too, especially because she stated Rihanna as an influence as well. But I think the reason Unbroken was so off-putting and had mixed reception was because everyone thought it was going to be the next Stripped, then the album was full of songs like Who's That Boy and You're My Only Shorty. Plus Demetria came straight off a pop/rock album directly to dance/R&B, and she's still with HWR, etc. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
The phoenix thing was just something I came up with during one of those "create an album for your fave" threads. I thought it was fitting because in mythology the phoenix is born from ashes and is a symbolism of rebirth, etc., and this whole era is basically a whole new chapter for Miley. It'd be like Aves Cyrus 2.0.
I will remain adamant that Miley is working with Dr. Luke this era. She knows that man gave her her biggest hit, she wouldn't pass the opportunity up, I'd hope. I've tried to get Miley fans to tweet him asking if they're working together, but no one ever listens.
