There was still room for reasonable doubt. It's been tossed about that Madonna's rep could have used that denial as a publicity stunt. As doubtful as it was, it was still a possibility.

Madonna didn't have time to promote the MDNA era, like she even cared tho it's obvious that she only made this album so she can tour and get her money. So w/o a huge WW hit (like when she had 4 minutes for the SS tour) she needed some controversy so she knew what would create a media buzz to keep the tour relevant: the GAGA ISSUE. If I were madge I'd do the same, I'd milk this topic until there's no tomorrow.

Let's not forget that the Gaga issue is not the only thing she's milking.

I understand the difference between Madonna saying she liked it to Gaga and then she exaggerated (no reason to be mad), and Madonna having not made any comment on it and suddenly Gaga came out with that. But still, when you share a private friendship with someone, I guess it's sacred and shouldn't be brought into their professional lives.

Madonna hates that sort of thing and I'd be mad too. I support and love Gaga but I see it for what it is - Gaga lied.

I would say that's fair. And no, they weren't BFFs .
But yeah, I would agree that Madonna is milking this situation from Gaga's fault (which she apologized for).

No well people value certain things in a friendship and clearly Madonna doesn't like liars but if anything she needs to be milking it right now seeing as though her album fell off the BB 200 within about 4 months

Either way, she somehow did make the song to sound like "Express Yourself" so she opened herself up to those comparisons. I mean, did she really not hear it? I just think she could have avoided all of this from the beginning, given what happened with the "Alejandro" video.




I really would just want her to avoid leading these comparisons on, because frankly, she does it to herself.
