You know what I just realized? All of the people that had their bending taken away were assholes (minus the police force, which still has me a bit confused). He had a chance to take Korra's, but she's doing things for the good of the people.

Yes Korra was very smart with her way of getting out of the cage. I probably never would have thought of that. And she finally did a pretty significant amount of waterbending this episode! Which is great. And it looks like she'll be doing a good amount of it in the finale too.
I sorta don't want Amon to be linked to Avatar cause then the entire plot of the show will seem like it's just the basic sequel to Avatar. It needs to stand on it's own. Flashbacks are okay, but let's not cling to the past.
But how else do you explain his ability to energybend? Amon HAS to be related to Aang in some way.

Amon is bad...but his reasoning is legit. He hasn't taken away anyone's bending that didn't deserve to have their bending taken away.

I don't think Katara would teach bloodbending to anyone else. She hated using it herself.
I will agree with Amon to an extent that not all people born with the ability to bend deserve to have them, because they use it for the wrong reasons. But he shouldn't categorize EVERY bender as somebody who abuses this. I dunno, it just seems childish for him to have a stigma against all benders when only one hurt his face.
Orsay, sis..... WHAT This show is miles better than many episodes of Avatar The Last Airbender. Get to Hulu or some bootleg website and catch up. You're missing out.

She was wearing shoes. She wouldn't get electrocuted in the first place. But I agree, that was kinda smart.
