She did an interview with Pitchfork a while ago and has always said that she considers herself more of a singer and that rap was never solely her thing, so this is really not surprising. I'm sure she'll still rap, but I can def see her doing more indie stuff. She's a hell of a rapper so there's no way she'll ignore that (I could see her more as MIA and Peaches). Those of you calling this a meltdown need to chill. She's an artist still in development and this kind of stuff happens so often. This place can be so damn dramatic sometimes.

um she had no bad reputation. any new rapper, especially her since she hasn't got much airplay from hip hop radios, has a tough time bringing hype to a crowd that don't know any of their songs.

and FYI, the whole booing thing was made up by Nicki fans because they're extreme *******. If you actually watched the stream, the crowd was booing about the rain that came out RIGHT AFTER her set.

She got booed right when 1991 started though. I was watching the stream as it was going on and you couldn't hear booing there but when I saw the Youtube video they were definitely booing her. It didn't sound like a whooooole bunch of people but it was a handful of em.
