To be honest, I don't think either of them are extraordinary. But Hilary at least has a cute voice. Selena can't sing at all. On the record she sounds decent, but live, she's atrocious.

Hilary and Selena are not almost at the same level. At least, Hilary takes her music career seriously and gives her all despite not being the best vocalist or dancer, Selena gives nothing at all in her performances, looks like she doesn't even care about her music career, and looks like a zombie on stage, perfect example: her recent DWTS performance, the girl has no spark on stage at all and even she knew she did bad. Hilary at least has spark when she performs and is not just phoning it in.

yes I agree but in terms of natural talent they're almost at the same level. They both have good tones but obviously Hilary is the better singer. I don't understand why she lip-synched so much because she is a decent singer.

One video doesn't change the fact that Hilary is still the better singer than Selena, lipsyching or not she will remain the better vocalist, I would like to see Miss Gomez hit the notes that Hilary hit on Shine from her self titled album or go for the notes that Hilary hit on Now You Know from the A Cinderella Story soundtrack. Selena will remain a zombie on stage who doesn't really take her music career seriously, even her stans in her own thread question her passion for her music career, that speaks volumes.

OMG there r so many well we criticize it bcz we r not in any kind of delusion we stan for her that doesn't mean that we don't talk about flaws some of u just don't accept the flaws in your idol and as per performances r considered i don't think Hilary can ever put such emotions in her song
