I don't understand the point of taking the album for its pieces.
What do you get when you purchase it? 12 songs and the ONE accompany visual. It's not like self-titled when it was released for parts. That project is not this project.

because the album has a different concept than the film.
the album talks about feminism, her cultural heritage and a broken marriage.
the film talks about all that, AND the race issues.
im not gonna sit here and pretend the album alone is about race issues, because it isnt. you dont see me trying to discredit self-titled's take on modern day feminism because even though it is also a visual project, the album itself, separately, talks about those things.
it has freedom, yes. but lemonade's main theme isnt the political statement, so stop reaching.
