the album talks about feminism, her cultural heritage and a broken marriage.

the film talks about all that, AND the race issues.

im not gonna sit here and pretend the album alone is about race issues, because it isnt. you dont see me trying to discredit self-titled's take on modern day feminism because even though it is also a visual project, the album itself, separately, talks about those things.

it has freedom, yes. but lemonade's main theme isnt the political statement, so stop reaching.

The album is about relationships, feminism, and race.

There's no "it has freedom...but". It's about everything that was presented in its premiere. That wasn't optional, the album featuring the individual songs was withheld for a day to let that message saturate.

If you can't discern a metaphor, that's your fault, not Bey's. Who spent millions developing the movie as one flush concept with the music.
