I think the point was Madonnas album sales were still climbing and triumphant during her 3rd album whereas not so much with Gaga.. she's gone down with each album sales wise

If you think it's unfair to compare their sales, 1.7M to like 25M, then compare their peak positions and the performance of the singles. Just to let you know before I start that selling so much was very extraordinary and unusual back then too.

Artpop no1 on official albums charts in like 5 countries, True Blue in around 30 countries.

Artpop one medium sized hit that did not hit no1 in any major market and 2 singles that performed very poorly, True Blue 5 mega smash singles including 3 HOT100 no1s and 4 UK no1s.

Do monsters really think they could ever win by comparing their fav to real legends? It's ridiculous. You don't see any other stan base doing this. It is really bizarre. I am not sure if it's ignorance or just trolling.
