Britney Spears is a pop icon. She has her classic songs... BOMT, Toxic, Oops, Womanizer etc. They sold “whatever total Alexz makes up”. However, when you look at her albums, no one is here for them. I have known Britney for 10 years and the only album I can recount from my head is Blackout. The rest I had to Wikipedia. She is in the same boat as your Rihanna’s, Katy’s, Ke$ha’s etc. You can name all their greatest hits, but you will be hard pressed to actually remember their album names. #NoShade.

Whe she recored "Reflection" she wasn't a signed artist, she just was a hired singer to record a song because her voice fit with the song...... but she wasn't signed.

What determined her signing on the company was after Britney's unexpected success, then Xtina got a contract and was forced to sing "Genie in a bottle" and was released mid 1999s when "Baby one more time" was already slaying the charts

Actually "Toxic" , "Baby one more time", and "Crazy in love" (from bey) are the most remembered songs from all the girls on the list.

I disagree tbh. Britney has made her mark in music. She was basically the leader of bubblegum pop and changed the face of pop music forever but her music isn't timeless imo. I love her and I think she's amazing and is underrated in some ways but I just can't see her 1) continuing with her career in 20 yrs. 2) Being truly remembered by our children. 3) Having any of her songs still played like that in the future.

She got her record deal the same week she got hired for Reflection which was before britney hit it big....
