Because she's a ****ing hypocrite of the highest order. Writing a song that many gay people found offensive for her first album, and then releasing a song that she supposedly wrote especially for gay people, for her second album, once she realised the benefits of having a dedicated gay fanbase.
And she has the ****ing nerve to throw shade at other artists for the stunts they pull with her holier-than-thou attitude, as if she hasn't resorted to cheap, cynical tactics to get where she is and to sell records. I probably shouldn't be too hard on her though, she is, afterall, completely manufactured and she must move in whatever direction her record label dictates.
Having said all of that, I use some of her songs, and I think she's a decent popstar with some fun videos. But that doesn't mean I'm here for
her. Her material consists of songs that anyone with a half decent voice could sing, and videos that any remotely pretty girl could star in. She is nothing special, but she is sufficient.
Her voice is unique though.
