In my opinion, and based on what she said about TEOG video, I think that after they tried the original concept, she felt there was something wrong with it - it was too over the top and elaborated, which is just what this song is NOT supposed to be in her opinion (and in mine too: it's just about pure bliss, about dancing alone in the middle of nothing, well...)

Of course the result turned out to be ****** - but I think it showcases the feeling that she gets through the song.

It's not a matter that she wants to do it herself or not. She needs to realize that she isn't capable of doing it. I personally don't think she should just work with her high school friends either. They just stroke her ego, so they can stick around. I can understand them helping here and there, but letting them influence her decisions as much as they do, ch... Because of her massive ego, which she has, she is very arrogant in the way she controls and directs her career. She is a singer/dancer, not a director, choreographer, video editor, etc.,. She needs help.

Honestly I don't even see her walking away with a Grammy. She didn't submit the strongest single which was 'TEOG'. I honestly hope she learns from this and brings that ego all the way down because the next album is gonna be a make or break moment.

Born This Way is an album full of flaws, and so is its era. But why necessarily people imply she's arrogant based on that? What would she say? "Yeah, the album's not that good, but hey, buy it anyway!"? Of course she must've been completely crazy with that "album of the decade" ****, but if she likes the album, what can I do?

but it's becoming too much. I've had enough of it. I don't want to hear that every five seconds, or in every song.
Born This Way has enough feel good songs. "Born This Way", the song, was fine. Then she throws in "Hair" and "Bad Kids". Good songs, but the message is already overplayed and I don't think she can find another way to put it. It's over. She needs to stop.
But third eras are usually messy. We'll be waiting for her next album (Which might release in 2013 or 2014. She said this era would last until then).
