The curse of the #1 album. Rihanna will never get one in a major market ever. (Germany doesn't count.) Loud debuted at #3 in the US and #2 in the UK. It rose to #1 later, but if she's up against 1D I don't see that happening unless they drop like a ROCK which is certainly possible, but we'll have to wait and see how the second single plays out.
I would have said the same, only I think Rihanna really broke through to the UK last year when Loud was released. It sold so much throughout December.
I think Rihanna will probably have sold more of TTT by the year end, but in the first week 1D should just nip her at the post.
Most likely. Her fanbase isn't necessarily bigger (1D are positively massive right now) but spans a wider demographic so her sales will be a lot more even.
Are you realy coming for Rihanna's UK sales im not saying she'll beat them to number 1 but OD are going to be more front loaded than Cher, and it certainly wont be by much ahead. Especially if she does XF again

Hey, I like Rihanna. I'm just trying to be realistic. Just the thought of 1D's second week sales makes me shudder though.
