My problem is that Nicki is equally (if not more-so) guilty of all three of these grievances as well and most deluded minds are trying hard to either sugar coat it (KoreanDream) or totally deny it (Good Doc).
You Nicki supporters can keep trying, but the "Nicki looks a try-hard mess" comments from those totally un-involved in the argument CONTINUE to flow in. oop.

A mess. I'm not denying anything that is the truth.
By heavily copying other artists, you are trying to imply Gaga, and no, she is NOT copying Gaga. Her style is CLEARLY influenced by Japan, not Gaga. The ****ing name "Harajuku Barbie" backs that up.
You said that attention is the main reason why she's dressing like that. It's not. She's dressing like that because she WANTS to. She's already dressed like Barbie. She's already dressed like Roman. She's already dressed like Martha. She is now dressing like Harajuku Barbie. Just because the latter is more out there than the others, doesn't mean that the sole purpose is to grab attention. The sole purpose has not changed at all, whether she's dressing as Roman, Martha, or Harajuku Barbie.
Her music is not the same. Nicki herself IS the same. Nicki has ALWAYS had different personalities. The personality she is highlighting now is not the one she was highlighting in her "Old Nicki" days; however, the personality she is highlighting now WAS still there in the "Old Nicki" days.

But the truth of Nicki's public perception/fashion choices during the past few weeks, sadly, remains.

You're perpetuating the idea that Nicki is a sub-par version of gaga when the "Nicki supporters" are refuting that idea by saying she's for a long time now approached fashion with an open-mind and in a different way than gaga. The only common thread between the two is that they both go for the "wow factor" Nicki's fashion sense is much more vibrant than gagas has ever been. Whether or not she looks a hot mess is up to the individual (a lot of the Nicki supporters concur though) and it isnt set in stone as some fact.

The only thing sad in this thread is you. Keep trolling away sis. It won't stop Nicki from having another platinum critically acclaimed album, being respected by legends, making Forbes Hip-Hop & breaking records.

You, being a Gaga fan, should know what it's like to have your favorite artist's image unfairly attacked.
And not for nothing, but you girls are acting as if Nicki just started dressing like this last week, she's been dabbling in different realms of personal style.

My sole intention is giving a dose of the truth to those trying their hardest to deny it.
and maybe I'm a bitter bitch

And how is that any different from what Nicki is doing?
Sis, she's giving us CHARACTERS. Roman, Nicki the Harajuku Barbie, Onika Maraj. They all different aspects of Nicki's personality; why should she be bashed because she chooses to collectively express all of these characters?

First of all, *Lewinsky. Secondly, Black with the pink, that would be Barbie. Thirdly, Nicki Lewinsky is NEVER coming back, and you'll have to deal.

I am not saying she should be bashed because she chooses to express a plethora of characters. I just don"t understand her reasoning behind what she does. Maybe because I am a stick in the mud ,and I am always looking for a deeper meaning behind anything that is done "artistically".

Since when was TFM Gaga EVER that colorful and bright? Hell, TF Gaga never came that close. And seeing how Nicki's style has gotten MORE colorful and brighter, your statement makes no sense.
Try again though.

I said TF/TFM Gaga
Gaga wore so many bright outfits in those era, atleast it looks good on her.

It's her style. Who cares? You being a GAGA stan should know that. If it was such an issue than she wouldn't have entered the show. Let alone sit next to Anna Wintour. I'm sure she wasn't the first person at fashion show to dress outrageous in bright colors. This is FASHION were talking about. Which is all about self expression. Why is it such an issue when Nicki does it?

At the end of the day, this is what we as the Minaj stanbase say: Nicki will continue having a fantastic era, will continue selling albums and singles, will wear whatever colorful ****ery she wishes, and will continue to be in your thoughts. Whether or not you like her, you'll remember who she is and you will hear her on the radio and see her entire discography on your friends', famiy members', and significant other's iPod, and that's all that matters.
