Judas was simply ahead of its time. The fact that is has been consistently one of the top played songs on Last.fm shows that. People didn't understand it at first. It will now be a fan favorite, it is most definitely one of her best songs.

|
I didn't mean to point anyone out in saying it, believe me you aren't the only one. But I completely disagree; TF/TFM was far from flawless. I never said you weren't a stan just because you criticise her. The reason I am a stan of Lady Gaga isn't because I looked at her during TF/TFM and thought, "Wow, she doesn't make any mistakes at all in her career!", it is because she released brilliant music and had amazing live performances. She has just released music that is more brilliant than TF/TFM (to me, anyway) and her performances are just as amazing as always.

I'm gonna jump on the 'ditch the Haus for professional directors' bandwagon, atleast for now. They're not good enough for Gaga. The Yoü And I video is very good but imagine how much better it would be if great professionals shot and edited it. There are some dodgy camera angles, so many bad cutaways, ass camera movement at times (why is the camera suddenly jumping upward and than downward during the choreography? ). I'm not here for Haus of Gaga using Gaga's videos as practicing experiments during her most important era
On an unrelated note the Judas choreography is quite catchy

I saw the video for Y&I on MTV the other night while watching with my mum. She thought it was rather great.

How was it ahead of its time? There was nothing particularly new or innovative about it.

This. I thought we all Gaga stans agreed that being "normal" and doing average performances wasn't enough to become an icon. It's not about doing good videos, it's about doing beyond good videos. And you need professional people around you to become one.

So you don't have a single complaint about the entire era?

Watered down version of BR. I was so disappointed when I heard it (and I told you). I couldn't believe she tried the same lazy RAH RAH GAGA / JUDA JUDA GAGA formula; it goes against everything she stands for. This in addition to the familiar oh oh oh opening, weak chorus & unpleasant screams. Worst single she's put out to date.

Well me neither i'm a stan of GaGa because she is a great artist, she is talented and a great entertainer, she is the pop star of my dreams all in one, for me this era is not going so well, is just my opinion and i didn't meant to sound rude to you, in some parts of the essay i was making some statements because some people tend to believe that you are not a fan anymore because you don't like something, i like you so hope you don't feel i was attacking you!

I didn't, at all! I mean, we're all going to have different opinions, it's just interesting to see what everyone thinks, which is why I'm here anyway

Sad, but true. And yes, I remember you hated it and told me it would flop. I still like it a lot personally, though

I have complaints from both eras. I don't think I'd be comfortable with her having a flawless era though. I do like something to have a bit of a moan about every now and again

Y&I has better cinematography than 99% of the mainstream videos I've seen this year.

Yeah, that's fine, I just can't relate to the perception of TF/TFM eras being flawless at all.

Yes you are right, she is not perfect sometimes we forget she is human, is just she set the bar so high, but is ok as stans we tend to be critical and at the end of everything we are the ones who really care about her and her career, and give her the support!
