I love Katy Perry so there's no shade or everything (I was the first one sayng Teenage Dream has HITS only and that the era could last forever) BUT, there's BUT :

Why ?
I'm scared she wouldn't be able to be on top again. I miss yes people love her right now, but i don't know how is does that but it's not an artist about whom u'd say "Oh I miss Katy Perry" like you'd say "Oh god Rihanna needs to come back with her bangers". Yes Katy has bunch of bangers but you know, you wouldn't miss her if she wasn't on radio. If you do not hear Rihanna on radio for a month, you know there's something weird too.
Of course I may be wrong as that's just my point of view, but idk she shouldn't take a year break... She should realease peacock, then a re-release with 1/2 singles and stop for 4-6 months maybe but not more
