Tacky and all that but it doesn't matter. It could smash. Maybe there are better songs but Pearl is closest to "smash material". It's like Teenage Dream. Not amazing like Teenage Dream but closest to that.

Ugh, I really want to get into Pearl, its probably her best lyrically on the album, but I just can't. The first verse is the best part, the bridge is good and the chorus is okay.

My problem with the song is that when it gets towards the end it just sounds like she's saying "pearl" and "shell" over and over again.

Anyways, TOTGA for next and last single, she has no more #1's on the album, but it could go top 10 and its something different.

I love HH, but I can't see it becoming a hit. Same with TOTGA & CDT
Peacock would be her biggest flop ever ( Starstrukk & Ur So Gay level )

The only hit left in the Album is NLTM, it would be a HUGE HAC/AC hit, and could do decenlty on POP!
About Pearl, well.. It will need a huge campaign, a lot of performances but I can see it becoming an anthem! (pretty hard, but Katy never disappoints )

I don't know much about what makes a song hot on the charts... but I feel Peacock wouldn't flop.

Some of the oddest/craziest songs hit big on the charts. How did that "Candy Shop" song do for.. 50 Cent?! lol Honestly no idea, but EVERYONE knew that darn song... and it was pretty... interesting lyrically.. lol.

HOWEVER, thinking a bit more... "Friday" by rebecca black.. everyone knows that but did it even chart?! lol
