That's what the people at popjustice say anyway, I assumed they were right. The Saturdays' stans were asking everyone to download Missing You three times as well, I can't see why else they would say that.
I think if you download the actual single three times, the album version three times, then a remix three times it will count for 9 sales, but if you download each 4 times it will still only count for 9 sales, so maybe it's cos they are different versions?
This may just be for the UK, not too sure
