LA Times is not a traditional poll, it's a panel of 3000 people who are polled continuously. It has a pretty strong Trump lean, even back in early July when all other polls had C+4 the LA Times had T+4. I actually think it's interesting in addressing attitudinal shifts, but the built in Trump lean explains why Clinton gets a lead with every Trump controversy, then Trump regains his lead after the controversy settles down.

Rasmussen is a notorious conservative pollster who had Romney +5 the night before the 2012 election.

In the end, the state polls are the most important, and we will still won't truly know where the race stands until after Labor Day, though we're getting quite close.

I know it may be difficult to grasp for a Trump supporter, like many concepts that otherwise come easily to a toddler, but bigger doesn't always mean better.

Larger crowds are inherently less personal and Hillary struggles (although she has improved) in speaking to a crowd in general. Hillary has intentionally chosen smaller venues so that she could communicate with those present, since her strength is in having one-to-one policy discussions rather than speaking in general to a group.

Feel free to use google to see this for yourself. It's been asked on every news site there is. This isn't some revelation.

Although I do know that research is another problem Trump supporters struggle with.

Don't agree. In fact not only does Hillary have more support (as shown by literally every poll for the last month) but her supporters are more enthusiastic for her compared to Trump. 53% of her supporters are casting the vote for her, 46% are casting an anti Trump vote. For Trump, only 44% of his voters are voting for him. 53% is an anti Clinton vote. So she actually has much more enthusiastic supporters.

Agree with all of this. Except I feel like this is where the race truly is already. No need to wait for Labor Day.

We should all really take in everything from this election because it's truly going to go down in history as one of the most iconic elections. From the primaries to the general election. I'm still not sure if it can top 2008 but it's on equal footing and we still have two and a half months to go. Plus the fallout should be a mess too leading up to the inauguration.

I cant. Im watching trumps virgina rally and he is giving a plead to the "african american vote" again. He is citing lincoln and i am honestly at disbelief. He, and i quote, says to "reject the bigotry of the democrats and hillary clinton because they only see poc as votes" He also says he wants to create a republican party that is inclusive for everyone.

edit: "hillary rather gives jobs to a syrian refugee than a poor unemployed african american" and the crowd of 99% white people cheer. I wonder if this is really about him caring or just wanting to reassure his voters he isnt really a racist.
