LA Times is not a traditional poll, it's a panel of 3000 people who are polled continuously. It has a pretty strong Trump lean, even back in early July when all other polls had C+4 the LA Times had T+4. I actually think it's interesting in addressing attitudinal shifts, but the built in Trump lean explains why Clinton gets a lead with every Trump controversy, then Trump regains his lead after the controversy settles down.
Rasmussen is a notorious conservative pollster who had Romney +5 the night before the 2012 election.
In the end, the state polls are the most important, and we will still won't truly know where the race stands until after Labor Day, though we're getting quite close.
